Liquor Store on Mars was my first music video I ever shot, and I gave it my complete all. Kelsy and I had some big ideas. Probably some of which probably shouldn’t have even attempted on a first music video try. But art prevails in some unexpected ways.
There were a lot of firsts out side of this being just my first music video. There was also some weird rigs we built with a RED on a Movi, mounted to a jib, mounted on a tripod, mounted on wheels. It was quite the contraption. It was also my first time doing VFX, so of course I wanted to really challenge myself with cars on fire and rockets being shot into space. You know, baby steps.
