Allison, a troubled girl with an eating disorder, is held in involuntary confinement and must decide if she wants to continue being uncooperative with her psychologist, or put her urges behind her.

This film was a project of mine for an intro production course at Chapman University. It was considered too ambitious a few times by my teacher’s notes, but I persisted. I continued to write it down into the required 3-2-1. Or 3 pages, 2 people, 1 location.
I’m extremely fortunate and grateful to have made the friends I did in the beginnings of working on this film. I was very new to the school and very new to actual filmmaking. This really inspired me to continue at my dreams of being a filmmaker.
Eat was accepted into the 2017 Catalina Film Festival.
