Coffee Break was one of my two thesis projects I had to be a part of to finish up my cinematography courses at Chapman University. I was approached to work on this by the producer as a part of a producer-initiative to obtain an additional grant to produce the film.
The film itself was very challenging to work through, but the talent of the crew that I hired under my department, really pushed this project along to the very end. At the end of all stress and issues we had during production, when it comes down to it, it was fun. Nothing beats creating new ideas with talented filmmakers.
