This weekend is already shaping up to be very busy!
I was asked by two of my friends (Collin Masiel and Michael Maughan) to come see what they’ve been up to in Hollywood. We go back from when they used to play in a band with me and they’ve since joined other bands and are now writing and producing music, going by the name PWER,for some great artists up in Los Angeles.
Their studio looks awesome, the music they’ve been working on sounds great, and now they’re going to have a great video. I offered to make a promotional video for them working and get it on their website and to their clients and management.
You can check out their website here at http://pwermusic.com.
I was also asked to revisit Long Beach and begin scouting for some pick up scenes for the short film, Storage, which I had started working with director Denver Mendiola a few months back. I spent the whole day traveling around with her and finding the perfect spots to shoot.
You can check out some test footage from our last shoot below:
Denver has also requested a logo for her production company and we’re handing that over to our graphic designer Tomomi Nakamura.
It may not be 2014 yet, but I’m having a feeling it’s going to shape up to be a great year.
